My favorite book is ‘In a Glass Grimmly'. This book offers a lot of interesting fairytales. Remember those fairytales from Disney? Those fairytales are usually heavily edited into a child's bedtime story. Well we're not going to see any of that in this book. In this book, you get the real deal.
In this book you get to join a pair of cousins' on their adventure to find the ‘looking glass'. This pair of cousins I'm talking about is Jack and Jill, and let's not forget about the old and ugly frog who accompanied them through their harrowing quest. Jack was a boy who got bullied by a group of boys, these boys would sing a song every time they see Jack. Jack grew to hate it, he hated himself and decided to take an old woman's offering. While Jill, she had a beautiful although horrible mother. She got embarrassed in public one day, and decided to run away from home, also taking an old woman's offer. This old frog I've been talking about only has 3 legs due to what Jill's mother had done to it.The pair of cousins took the old woman's offer, they had to find the ‘looking glass' to have their wishes granted. They go through exciting adventures, from a place above the clouds, to a small town beside the sea shore. From market that has everything to a mansion of cannibal siblings.
This book is the second sequel of “a Tale Dark & Grimm”. I find this book very interesting, I haven't read the first sequel, but it still makes sense. I recommend this book to people that don't get grossed out easily, I don't recommend this book to children though. Personally, I don't think that there's a lot of violence nor anything inappropriate, just some bloody moments, but no one dies. I may really like this book, but people have different opinions.
