[:en]On the 16^th of February 2019, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa celebrated the Chinese New year with the students, parents and embassies from some countries in Indonesia. The distinguished guests included the vice deputy minister of foreign affairs of Indonesia, Mr. Dr H. Abdurahman Mohammad Fachir. The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN , Mr. Kim Chang-Beom  and Mr.Zhou bin, counselor of People’s Republic of China in Indonesia. Mr. Luntungan Honoris, Mrs. Indra T. Honoris and the embassies marked the opening of the Chinese New Year Celebration with the drum ceremony. The students gave amazing performances such as Sword Dance, poetry recital, and Lion and Dragon dances. At the end of the day, the invitees had a grand lunch and some bonding moments.

[:zh]于2019年2月16日，民望学校欢庆2019农历新年。家长，老师以及驻印尼各国大使出席当天的活动。印尼外交部副部长，DR  Haji Abdurrahman Mohammad Fachir，大韩民国驻印尼大使馆，金昌范大使，中华人民共和国驻印尼大使馆文化部，周斌参赞也出席当天的活动。活动开始前，由民望学校校董，何筱崙先生，民望学校副校董，陈国瑛女士以及大使们一起上台击鼓迎春。之后，民望学校的学生登台表演精彩的演出，如：剑舞，诗歌朗诵，舞龙舞狮。节目结束时，所有的贵宾们一起用餐。

[:id]Pada tanggal 16 Februari 2019, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa merayakan tahun baru Imlek 2019 bersama para siswa, orangtua siswa dan beberapa duta besar negara asing di Indonesia.  Adapun duta besar yang menghadiri perayaan imlek di Sekolah Harapan Bangsa adalah Bapak Dr. H. Abdurahman Mohammad Fachir (Wakil Menteri Hubungan Luar Negeri di Indonesia),  Mr. Kim Chang-Beom (Duta Besar Korea untuk ASEAN) dan Mr. Zhou Bin (Duta Penasehat Negara Cina di Indonesia). Perayaan pada hari itu diawali dengan penabuhan tambur yang dilakukan oleh Bapak Luntungan Honoris, Ibu Indra T. Honoris serta para duta besar. Perayaan ini dimeriahkan oleh penampilan dari siswa-siswi  Sekolah Harapan Bangsa seperti tarian pedang, pembacaan puisi serta penampilan Barongsai dan Liong dan diakhiri dengan makan siang bersama dan ramah-tamah.
