Sharing Because of Love in SHB Carnival 2024

That is roughly the synthesis of the annual event organized by the SHB Modernhill Elementary and Kindergarten-TK school family in Pondok Cabe, to share with friends who are less fortunate. “Bazaar and Fun Day” was the name of the event held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, which was very exciting despite its short duration. The event was packed with a program that was both engaging and encouraged every heart to share. “Bazaar and Fun Day” featured several interesting activities: competitions including spelling bee, Mandarin karaoke, drawing, coloring, and e-sports; games and fun-sports that kept the students hooked, such as mini-golf, nerf gun shooting, ring toss, hockey shot, mini bowling, darts, basketball shootout, balloon house, balloon bouncy castle, and water gun battle.

A foundation for orphanages located at Jl Benda Barat 6, Pamulang 2, South Tangerang, Banten, became the school’s partner in sharing. The children from Pintu Elok, the name of the orphanage, were invited to witness the 3.5-hour festivities of the day. “We are very honored because SHB wants to share with us. We pray that SHB will always produce the best sons and daughters for the nation,” said Yordan Yeremias Silaban, a mentor and resident who recently graduated this month, before returning to the place where he has lived and fought without the presence of his parents since he was a baby.
