Vaccination for Grades 1, 2 & 5 of Harapan Bangsa Elementary School for a Healthy Future

Vaccination is an important step in maintaining children's health. At elementary school age, children need several different vaccines, such as measles, polio, diphtheria, and tetanus. Vaccines work by stimulating the immune system, strengthening the immune system and protecting children from various diseases. Vaccinations for students at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School are routinely administered annually in collaboration with the medical team at the Pondok Cabe Ilir Community Health Center in Pamulang, South Tangerang City.

Untuk anak yang berusia di bawah 7 tahun, anak diberikan vaksin DT yaitu vaksin Difteri dan Tetanus sebagai imunisasi awal untuk anak. Vaksin ini  untuk melindungi tubuh mereka dari penyakit difteri dan tetanus. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh virus dan bakteri yang ditularkan oleh orang lain maupun lingkungan sekitar. Sedangkan bagi anak yang berusia di atas 7 tahun (kelas 2 dan 5) diberikan vaksin TD sebagai imunisasi lanjutan (booster) yang memiliki manfaat yang sama dengan vaksin DT. 

In addition to providing individual protection, vaccines also help create a healthier school environment. The more students who are vaccinated, the more the spread of viruses and bacteria within Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School can be prevented, thereby protecting the entire school community, including children who may be physically weak or have underlying health conditions. With the support of parents, teachers, and healthcare workers, the vaccination program at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School is expected to help all students at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School grow up healthy, active, and ready to participate in learning activities well.
