Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Celebrate the Moon Cake Festival

On the Chinese calendar the 15^th day of the 8^th month fell on Monday 28^th September 2015, therefore Sekolah Harapan Bangsa celebrated the Moon Cake festival on that day.

Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill celebrated Moon Cake festival that one of most ancient Chinese festivals. This festival was aimed to celebrate the harvest time and appreciating the moon. During this time, people enjoyed reunions with families and friends, ate moon cake and express good wishes.
The purpose of the activity in Sekolah Harapan Bangsa was for the children to enjoy Moon Cakes together. Why do we eat Moon Cakes? Through this activity the children learn, what Moon Cakes are and also further learn about the history of the Moon Cake Festival.

In the program, the students of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa prepared many activities. Kiddy Club done movement and dance to “Ba Luo Bo”, Playgroup sung and danced to “Ha Ha Xiao”, TK A 1-2 sung and danced to “Dang Wo Men Tong Zai Yi Qi” and TK B 1-2 sung and danced to “Shang Xue Ge”. Despite a short time for preparation the students were able to perform well.

It was not only the preschool students who prepared for the show, primary students also prepared to perform. Grade 3 and 4 sung “Yue Liang Yuan” and grade 5 students danced an umbrella dance.

The performances were very interesting and the student appeared very happy, especially when they got to enjoy the Moon Cake, the students were very interested.

After the event students went home at 12.00 PM and took their souvenir from the Moon Cake Festival with them.[:zh]

按照农历八月十五，星期一，这天民望学校庆祝了中秋节。

主要的节目是全体学生一起品尝月饼。为什么要吃月饼呢？因为透过中秋节让学生们知道什么是月饼，也让他们了解中秋节的传说。

民望学校的学生们也表演了很多节目。幼儿园小小班学生唱“拔萝卜”，幼儿园小班学生唱“哈哈笑”，幼儿园中班全体学生唱“当我们同在一起”，幼儿园大班全体学生唱“上学歌”。虽然前期的准备时间不多，但是幼儿园的学生们为大家带来的表演非常精彩。

不仅幼儿园带来了节目，民望学校小学的学生们也准备了舞蹈和歌唱。三、四年级学生演唱了“月亮圆”，五年级的六位学生表演了扇子舞蹈。

各种节目都很精彩，大家一起吃月饼的时候，学生们也表现的开心兴奋，对此也感到很大的兴趣。

庆中秋活动结束后，学生们于12点带着中秋礼品，准备回家。[:id]

Berdasarkan penghitungan Kalender Cina, pada tanggal 15 bulan 8, adalah perayaan Festival Kue Bulan dan tanggal tersebut jatuh pada hari Senin tanggal 28 September 2015, oleh karena itu Sekolah Harapan Bangsa merayakan Festival Kue Bulan. Festival Kue Bulan bertujuan untuk merayakan masa panen raya and menghormati bulan, dalam perayaan ini, orang-orang menikmati acara berkumpul bersama keluarga dan teman, saling mengucapkan selamat  sambil menikmati kue bulan

Perayaan Festival Kue Bulan di Sekolah Harapan Bangsa bertujuan  supaya siswa siswi Sekolah Harapan Bangsa bisa menikmati perjamuan kue bulan bersama-sama. Mengapa harus memakan “kue bulan”? Melalui acara ini anak-anak bisa mengetahui apa kue bulan itu dan mengenal lebih jauh mengenai sejarah Festival Kue Bulan.

Para siswa Sekolah Harapan Bangsa juga menyiapkan penampilan mereka. Kelas Kiddy Club mempersembahkan gerak dan tari “Ba Luo Bo”, Playgroup menyanyi dan menari “Ha Ha Xiao”, TK A 1-2 menyanyi dan menari “Dang Wo Men Tong Zai Yi Qi” dan kelas TK B 1-2 menyanyi dan menari “Shang Xue Ge”. Meskipun waktu untuk mempersiapkannya tidak banyak tetapi para siswa menampilkannya dengan baik.

Selain siswa TK, para siswa SD juga mempersiapkan penampilan mereka. Kelas 3 dan 4 SD menyanyikan lagu “Yue Liang Yuan” dan kelas 5 SD menari payung.

Penampilan mereka g sangat menarik dan para siswaterlihat sangat senang, terlebih lagi pada saat menikmati kue bulan, mereka terlihat sangat tertarik dan menikmatinya.

Acara berakhir pada pukul 12.00 siang dan para siswa pulang pukul 12.00 dengan membawa souvenir dari acara Festival Kue Bulan.[:]
