EAST JAVA FIELD TRIP SENIOR HIGH SHB MODERNHILL 2015
: “Integrating History, Culture and Science of East Java”

On 2-6 November 2015, SMA Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill-Pondok Cabe, held a fieldtrip to East Java with the theme “Integrating history, culture and science of East Java”. There are several locations visited in East Java region, namely, Mojokerto , Malang and Probolinggo. The first day the students paid a visit to Mojokerto, starting with a visit to Sleeping Buddha. “Sleeping Buddha” is a tour related to Majapahit Kingdom which is managed by Budhayana Foundation. At this location, the students learn a lot about Buddhism and its relation to the kingdom of Majapahit. The field trip participants also learn about home architecture of Majapahit, which some of the houses in this area are still using. After the visit, we continued to Majapahit Trowulan. At this location, the Field Trip participants visited Majapahit museums, where the museum displays the history of the kingdom of Majapahit in Indonesia.

Our field trip agenda is combined with live-in programme, which students live together with village communities of Claket, District Pacet, Mojokerto. Claket village is a village located in the highlands of Mojokerto. This village has a population of approximately 100 families, where the average employment of the population are farmers, ranchers and aquaculture plant. The situation in the village is very friendly and mutually cooperative between the community and other communities.
Field Trip participants were divided into groups with foster parents, which one family accommodates two students. The field trip participants stayed and lived with the family in the Claket village and the students also followed the routine of the village life from waking up, eating, and working together with foster parents.

On day three, the next agenda was visiting the Museum of The Body. In the museum, students received a lot of explanation about how the body works and the dynamics of human organs. During the visit to this museum, students were able to have a general medical check-up, ranging from eyes, blood, weight, cholesterol and etc. Then the students were shown a human body that is preserved, the students could directly see organs of the human body. The visit was followed by visiting the Museum of Transport, an educational museum that is loaded with transportation. In this museum, the students received knowledge about the collections of transportation ranging from the traditional model, classical to modern.

On the fourth day, the participants visited the Household Industrial manufacture of processed apples in Batu, Malang. In this Home Industry, the field trip participants learned the ways of processing apples into chips, drinks, dodol, etc. They also received a brief explanation about building a business management industry. The visit continued with visiting tourist sites Jatim Park II and Eco Green Park. At this location, the students learned and saw the collection of animal species from all over Indonesia and also from abroad.

On the fifth day, the field trip continued to Probolinggo, to see the wealth of natural attractions in Mount Bromo Probolinggo area, in the tourist area of Mount Bromo, the students were able to see the beauty of Bromo crater, desert and Pura Agung Bromo Bromo.

A five-day visit to East Java produces deep impression and experience in students, which students learn about the culture, history and science in East Java.

2015年Modernhill民望学校高中生到东爪哇实地考察

“东爪哇的历史，文化和理科的整合”

于2015年11月2日至6日，Modernhill民望学校高中生到东爪哇做实地考察，主题为“东爪哇的历史，文化和理科的整合”。在东爪哇，学生们参观了几个地方，如：莫佐克托城,马朗城,庞越城.第一天的行程学生们去了莫佐克托城参观“睡佛”。“睡佛”是由 Budhayana基金会管理的满者伯夷王国的旅游景点。在此地，学生们能了解佛教与满者伯夷王国的关连。此外，学生们也能了解关于满者伯夷王国的建筑。在此地，村民的屋子还有满者伯夷王国的建筑风格。之后，就去了满者伯夷王国的历史场地。在此地，学生们参观满者伯夷王国的博物馆。此博物馆显示了满者伯夷王国的历史。

本次的实地考察含了居留活动。学生们能与Claket村庄的村民住在一起。Claket村庄座落在莫佐克托城的高原.此村庄大约有100多个的户主。他们的职业大都是农夫，饲养员，养殖业。村庄的情况非常的友好，村庄的村民都会互相帮助。本次实地考察的学生们分配给予村民看护。一个户主收留2名学生。所有的学生都与Claket的村民生活在一起。学生们也随着村民的生活习惯，从起床，吃饭，与看护者一起共同工作，让学生们能感受到村民的日常生活。

第三天的行程，学生们参观了人体博物馆。在此博物馆里，学生们能获得许多说明，如：人体内的工作系统，人体器官的动态。在这里，学生们也获得健康检查，如：眼检查，血液检查，重量检查，胆固醇检查，等等。之后，学生们也能观赏已被腊的人体，直接观赏人体内的人体器官。

然后，就去了交通博物馆。本博物馆充满交通运输的知识。学生们能观赏到传统模式的交通工具，古典交通工具直到现代化的交通工具。

第四天的行程，学生们去了一间在马朗城，Batu区的国内行业制造加工苹果的加工厂。在此地，学生们能学习到如何把苹果加工成为芯片，饮料，椰子糕，等等。此外，学生们也得到关于苹果加工的简单培训以及得到小型工业管理的说明。之后，就去了东爪哇游乐园和生态绿化公园。在此地，学生们能学习及观赏到全印尼和全世界的动物。

第五天的行程，学生们就去了庞越城，观赏Bromo火山。在此地，学生们能观赏Bromo的火山口，Bromo的沙漠以及Bromo的Agung寺庙。

在这5天的东爪哇实地考察里，给了学生很深刻的经历。让学生们学习关于东爪哇的历史，文化和理科的整合。

Pada tanggal 2-6 November 2015, SMU Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill-Pondok Cabe, mengadakan fieldtrip ke Jawa Timur dengan mengambil tema “Menyatukan aspek sejarah, budaya dan sains daerah Jawa Timur”, ada beberapa lokasi yang dikunjungi di kawasan Jawa Timur yaitu, Mojokerto, Malang, dan Probolinggo. Hari pertama para siswa mengadakan kunjungan ke Mojokerto, dimulai dengan kunjungan ke Sleeping Budha, “Sleeping Budha” merupakan wisata bercorak Kerajaan Majapahit yang dikelola oleh Yayasan Budhayana, di lokasi ini, para siswa belajar banyak tentang agama Budha dan kaitannya dengan kerajaan majapahit, di kawasan ini juga, peserta field trip belajar tentang arsitektur rumah bercorak Majapahit, dimana beberapa rumah dikawasan ini masih memakai arsitektur Majapahit. Setelah itu kunjungan dilanjutkan situs Majapahit Trowulan, Di lokasi ini para peserta Field trip mengunjungi museum Majapahit, dimana museum ini menampilkan sejarah kerajaan Majapahit di Indonesia.

Agenda field trip juga dikombinasikan dengan program live-in, dimana para siswa tinggal bersama-sama dengan masyarakat desa Claket, Kecamatan Pacet, Mojokerto. Desa Claket merupakan desa yang berada didataran tinggi Mojokerto, Desa ini berpenduduk kurang lebih 100 Kepala Keluarga, dimana rata rata pekerjaan para penduduk adalah petani, peternak dan budidaya tanaman, situasi desa sangat bersahabat dan saling gotong royong antara satu masyarakat dengan masyarakat lain)
Para peserta field trip di bagi ke orang tua asuh, dimana 1 keluarga menampung 2 siswa, para peserta field trip tinggal dan hidup bersama dengan keluarga di Desa Claket, dan para siswa juga mengikuti rutinitas kehidupan desa mulai dari bangun pagi, makan, dan bekerja bersama dengan orang tua asuh.

Pada hari ke-tiga, agenda field trip dilanjutkan dengan mengunjungi  Museum tubuh ,
Di Museum ini para siswa banyak mendapat penjelasan tentang sistem kerja tubuh, dinamika organ tubuh manusia, di museum ini juga para siswa di cek kesehatannya, mulai dari cek mata, cek darah, cek berat badan, cek kolestrol dan dll. Kemudian para siswa diperlihatkan tubuh manusia yang diawetkan, para siswa bisa melihat langsung organ-organ tubuh manusia secara langsung. Kunjungan dilanjutkan dengan mengunjungi Museum angkut, museum ini sarat dengan pendidikan transportasi, di Museum ini, para siswa belajar tentang koleksi-koleksi alat transportasi mulai dari model tradisional, klasik sampai modern.

Pada hari ke-empat, Para peserta field trip mengunjungi Industri Rumah tangga pembuatan olahan apel di daerah Batu, Malang. Di Home Industry Ini para peserta field trip belajar tentang cara pengolahan buah apel menjadi keripik, minuman, dodol, dll, juga para peserta field trip  mendapat training tentang cara pengolahan buah apel yang sederhana serta penejelasan tentang pengelolaan bisnis industri kecil. Kunjungan dilanjutkan dengan mengunjungi lokasi  wisata Jatim Park II dan Eco Green Park, di lokasi ini para siswa belajar dan melihat koleksi binatang satwa dari seluruh Indonesia dan juga dari luar negeri.

Pada hari ke-lima, kunjungan field trip dilanjutkan ke daerah Probolinggo, untuk melihat kekayaan wisata alam daerah Probolinggo yaitu Gunung Bromo, di kawasan wisata Gunung Bromo, para siswa melihat keindahan kawah Bromo, padang pasir Bromo dan Pura Agung Bromo.

Kunjungan lima hari ke Jawa Timur menghasilkan kesan dan pengalaman mendalam dalam diri para siswa, di mana para siswa belajar tentang budaya, sejarah serta sains yang ada di Jawa Timur.[:]
