Modernhill Harapan School Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival

On September 25, 2018, Modernhill Harapan Bangsa  School held a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

At the beginning of the activity, students from grades 7-12 were gathered in the lobby, and Laoshi Han Jing introduced the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The students listened very seriously.

The first event was the Lantern Making Competition. The materials for the lanterns were distributed to each class by Laoshi Daud. Then,the students made the lanterns. After the lantern production was completed, the homeroom teachers selected three best lanterns as first, second, and third winners. Then, the homeroom teacher brought the lanterns made by the students to the hall for display. So the judges could give the score. The judges are the junior high school principal, the high school principal, and the guidance counselor teacher.  Finally, in the Lantern Making Competition, the first place went to grade 11 class , the second place went to grade 12 class, and the third place was for grade 9A class.

The second activity of the event was a performance competition consisting of a song and dance competition, a poetry reading competition, and a tongue twister competition.  Grades 7 and 8 performed song and dance. Girls were dancing while the boys were singing. The song was “When is the Moon Representing My Heart”. In the dance competition, the grade seven won the first place.  The next activity was poetry reading by grade 9,10,11 and 12 followed by tongue twister competition. In the poetry reading  competition,  grade 9A  won the first place.

Once the rewarding was done, the celebration of Mid autumn Festival at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill was finished.[:zh]

现代山庄民望学校庆中秋节活动

2018年9月25日现代山庄民望学校举行欢乐迎中秋活动。

活动开始时先将7–12年级的学生集中于大厅，由韩静老师介绍中秋节的由来。学生听得很认真。

活动第一项是灯笼制作大赛。由Mr Daud 将制作灯笼的材料给各班进行分发。让学生制作灯笼。灯笼制作完成后，先由各班班主任选出班级内的第一名，第二名，第三名。然后班主任将学生制作好的灯笼带到大厅进行展示。让评委进行评分。评委分别是初中校长，高中校长，心理咨询室主任。活动时间为7:10–9:10。9:10–9:40是学生自由活动时间。最后在灯笼制作大赛中，11年级第一名，12年级第二名，9年级A 班第三名。

活动第二项是歌舞比赛，朗诵比赛，绕口令比赛。7–8年级是歌舞比赛。女生跳舞，男生唱歌。曲目都是《明月几时有》。在跳舞比赛中，7年级获得第一名。接下来是9–11年级的朗诵比赛和绕口令比赛。朗读比赛中，9年级A 班获得第一名。绕口令比赛中，11年级获得第一名。

现代山庄民望学校庆中秋活动圆满结束。[:id]

Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill mengadakan acara perayaan Festival Kue Bulan, pada tanggal 25 September 2018. Kegiatan dimulai dengan mengumpulkan murid-murid dari kelas 7 sampai kelas 12 di aula sekolah, dan laoshi Han Jing menjelaskan asal-usul adanya Perayaan Kue Bulan . Semua murid dengan semangat mendengarkan cerita tersebut.

Kegiatan merangkai lampion dengan mengunakan amplop Angpao merupakan acara kedua. Laoshi Daud mendistribusikan bahan ke setiap kelas supaya dapat dirangkai menjadi lampion. Setelah selesai murid merangkainya,  setiap wali kelas akan memilih 3 lampion yang tebaik untuk dibawa dan digantungkan di aula sekolah. Lalu dilanjutkan pemilihan juara satu,dua dan tiga oleh Kepala Sekolah SMA, Kepala Sekolah SMP dan konselor Sekolah.  Setelah itu terpilihlah tim dari kelas 11 juara I, tim dari kelas 12 juara II dan tim dari kelas 9A berhasil mendapatkan juara III.

Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah pelombaan tari dan lagu, membaca puisi, dan ‘tongue twister'. Kelas 7 dan kelas 8 menjadi peserta lomba tari dan lagu, dimana murid perempuan menari, murid laki-laki bernyanyi.  Lagu wajib yang dinyanyikan adalah Ming Yue Ji Shi You , dan hasilnya Kelas 7 memperoleh juara I untuk tarian. Dilanjutkan dengan perlombaan baca puisi dan ‘tongue twister' oleh kelas 9 sampai kelas 12.  Akhirnya kelas 9 memperoleh juara I dalam membaca puisi, sedangkan kelas 11 memperoleh ‘tongue twister.

Dengan berakhirnya semua perlombaan, maka acara perayaan Festival Kue Bulan selesai.[:]
